Appoints Carolyn Mosby as Interim President/CEO
May 1, 2024 – Milwaukee, WI – The North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Carolyn Mosby as Interim President and CEO, effective June 3, 2024. Mosby, the former President and CEO of the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council, brings over a decade of experience and leadership in driving economic growth through minority business development.
The board’s decision to appoint Mosby comes at a critical time in the NCMSDC’s journey. Following the departure of the previous President/CEO late last year, the organization has been actively planning its leadership transition and strategic growth. Mosby has been consulting with the NCMSDC since January 2024, offering her guidance and expertise in navigating operational challenges and refining strategies.
“With Carolyn’s wealth of experience and deep understanding of our mission, we are confident she will stabilize our operations and prepare the organization for long-term success,” said Veronica Johnson, Chair of the NCMSDC Board of Directors. “Her leadership will be instrumental as we finalize our strategic plan and begin the search for a permanent President/CEO in 2025.”
Mosby’s appointment aligns with the board’s proactive approach to ensuring the Council’s continued growth and success. With her at the helm, and the recent addition of Dr. Kamaljit K. Jackson as Program Director of the Wisconsin Minority Business Development Agency Business Center, operated by NCMSDC, the organization is building a solid foundation for future endeavors.
